  SLIFCO
  
  Dorothy A. Slifco, 65, of Berlin RD 3, died Sept. 8, 1985, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born Aug. 25, 1920, in
  Cumberland, Md., daughter of the late Edward and Phoebe (Sturtz)
  Schiller.  She is survived by her husband, John J. and these
  children: John M., Brockway; Dorothy Sue, Berlin; William J., married
  to former Ann Ream, Berlin; Paul D., married to former Darlene Smith,
  Bridgeville; and Edward C., married to former Stephanie Jano, Berlin;
  and two grandchildren, Teresa and Sarah Slifco.  She was a member of
  Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Goodtown.  Friends will
  be received Tuesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home.  Prayer service 8:30 a.m.
  Thursday at the Funeral Home followed by Requiem Divine Liturgy at
  St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Central City, the Rev. John
  Govursik officiating.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.  Parastas will
  be recited at the funeral home 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. 
  Contributions in her memory to the American Heart Association or the
  Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
