FRANK SLIFCO

Two Miners Killed

  Two miners, Paul Trulik and Frank Slifco, were found dead last Wednesday 
morning in the mine at the Brothersvalley Coal Company, at MacDonaldton.  Both 
men had received slight burns on their bodies and it is thought there was an 
explosion of some kind.  Both men were cutters in the mine and should have come 
out about midnight.  When the foreman entered the mine in the morning, he found 
them both dead.  Paul Trulik was 35 years of age and married and Frank Slifco, 
was aged 21 and single.  Both men resided at MacDonaldton.
