  BESSIE K. SLIGER
  
    Bessie K. Sliger, 82, formerly of Friendsville, MD, died Wednesday,
  July 11, 1990, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home in Oakland, MD.
    She was born Feb. 10, 1908, in Moorefield, W.Va., a daughter of the
  late William and Jane Hose.  Her husband, Joseph S. Sliger, died on
  Feb. 3, 1987.
    She was a homemaker, and a member of the Friendsville United
  Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of the church.
    She is survived by a daughter, Virginia M. Holliday, Fort Hill; two
  grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and
  a number of step-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, MD,
  where services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. H. B.
  Rittenhouse.
    Interment, Blooming Rose Cemetery, Friendsville, MD.
