Born July 26, 1918, in Boswell, daughter of Stanley and Helen (Strovenski) Baraniak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank M. Sr., on Sept. 15, 1972; grandson, John Slizewski, on Feb. 14, 1984, and brothers, Peter, Albert and Frank "Pen." Survived by children, Frank M. Jr., married to Barbara Franklin, San Antonio, Texas; Leonard S., married to Sandra Bertolini, Medina, Ohio; Helen A. "Ellie," married to Robert Majetich, Minooka, Ill.; Michaelene M. "Mickey," married to Randy St. Clair, Jenner Township, and Cecilia I. Maust, Boswell, and her fiancˇ Keith Barron, Somerset; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy Sokolsky and Helen Pastuch, both of Boswell; Pauline Kerch, Bethesda, Md., and Stanley "Tiny," Everett. Sister-in-law of Pauline Baraniak and Vickie Baraniak. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Boswell Senior Citizens, Unite Here (formerly ILGWU), Four Seasons Club and Retirees Club. Also member of the auxiliaries to the Boswell Volunteer Fire Department and Boswell American Legion. Retired employee of the former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, followed by Auxiliary services. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Daniel G. Fink, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
