   Richard S. "Rick" Slope, 43, Somerset, died July 15, 2008, in Pittsburgh. Born May 2,
  1965, he is the son of Paul and Peggy (Cramer) Slope, Somerset. He is preceded in death
  by his grandparents, Richard and Catherine Cramer and Steve and Dorothy Slope. Besides
  his parents, he is survived by wife, Wendy (Summers) Slope; children, Joshwa and Colby,
  Somerset; and granddaughter, Gabby Sarver. Brother of Mrs. William (Debbie) Raszewski,
  Somerset; and Mrs. Meade (Tammy) Meyers II, Rockwood. Mother-in-law, Connie Oster,
  Somerset; brother-in-law, Jason Oster and wife, Nicole, Shanksville; sister-in-law, Tina
  Burkholder and husband, Bill, Stoystown. Nephews, Adam and Matthew Meyers and Jarek Oster;
  nieces, Kaitlyn Raszewski and Jayla Oster. Also survived by numerous aunts and uncles. He
  was a devoted and loving husband and father. Attended Somerset Church of the Nazarene, a
  1983 graduate of Somerset High School and was a member of F.O.E. Arie 1801, and was
  employed by Bruce Trent Trucking and was formerly employed by Bowman Trucking and was
  known by his CB handle "Mouse." Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in
  the Berlin Alliance Church with the Rev. Sherman Berkey officiating. Contributions may be
  sent to the Slope family.
