  Arthur Earl Small, 74, of 198 Highland Ave., Central City, died Oct.
  16, 1986, at Windber Hospital.  Born Dec. 27, 1911, in Shade
  Township, son of the late Arthur and Clara (Pebley) Small.  Also
  preceded in death by his first wife, the former Ruth Sutter; second
  wife, the former Marie Custer; son, James: grandson, Robert; four
  brothers and three sisters.  He is survived by his wife, the former
  Esther Weible, and these children: Richard, married to Beverly
  Burton; Mrs. Perry (Shirley) Ballenger; and Thomas, married to Glenda
  Edwards, all of Mogadore, Ohio; Arthur, married to Matilda Miller of
  Citrus Heights, Calif.; Robert, married to Margot Pendergast,
  Orangevale, Calif; Donald, married to Sandra Welsh, and Mrs. Evelyn
  Montgomery, both of Borger, Texas; Roger, married to Renee Ballenger,
  Akron, Ohio; step-sons, Lee, married to Ella Mae Huston of Mogadore,
  Ohio; and Glenn, married to Carol Ratcliffe, Charlotte, N.C.; 24
  grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Robert
  (Vera) Emenhiser of Red Lion; and Robert of Orangevale, Calif. 
  Retired from Akron National Bank, Akron, Ohio; member of Central City
  Christian Church.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Evangelist Eric Smith officiating. 
  Interment, McGregor Cemetery, Cairnbrook.
