  William M. Small, 59, of Central City RD 1 was dead on arrival at
  Somerset Community Hospital on Nov. 24, 1973.  Born Nov. 1, 1914 in
  Shade Township.  Son of Arthur and Clara Pebley Small.  Preceded in
  death by parents two brothers and two sisters and survived by his
  widow the former Nellie Custer, and the following children: Mrs. Gary
  (Willow Mae) Weaver of Central City; William D. at home; Gary married
  to former Connie Keslar of Stahlstown; foster daughter Mrs. George
  (Marian) Evans of Walkersville, Md.; and five grandchildren.  Brother
  of John and Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Ling of Central City; Mrs. Robert (Vera)
  Emenheiser of Red Lion; A. Earl of Akron, Ohio; and Robert of
  Orangevale, Calif.  Worked as a mechanic for Tri-County Motor Sales,
  Johnstown.  Member of Berkey Church of Brethren.  Family received
  friends Monday and will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and until noon Wednesday in Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home,
  in Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to Berkey Church of Brethren
  to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  The
  Rev. Claude Sumner officiating.  Interment Berkey Cemetery.
