  MARY E. SMEARMAN
  
  Mary E. Smearman, 63, of Brook Park, Ohio, died Saturday, Jan. 25,
  1997.
  Born Dec. 2, 1933, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late
  Russell Stewart and Ellen Elizabeth Weimer.  Mrs. Smearman moved to
  Ohio in 1955.
  She is survived by her husband, Charles Smearman, Brook Park, Ohio;
  daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Larry) Hirt; granddaughter, Ashley Hirt; and
  a brother, Russell Weimer of Meyersdale.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 28.  Interment, Lutheran
  Memorial Park in Hinckley, Ohio.  Friends were received at the Ripepi
  Funeral Home.  Family suggests contributions be made to the American
  Cancer Society.
