  SMITH
  
    Aldwin W. Smith, 71, of 51 Water Street, Jenners, died Nov. 24,
  1993, at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born Dec. 21, 1921, in Hyndman, son of
  Harry and Maggie (Deneen) Smith.  Preceded in death by parents, two
  infant brothers; sisters, Madaline and Margaret Smith, and brothers,
  Grant and Leroy Smith.  Survived by wife, former Ruth M. Ohler, and
  these children: Donna, wife of John R. Neuhoff, Boswell RD 2; Edwin,
  married to former Connee Fulton, Friedens RD 2, and Ernie, married to
  former Belle A. Hammer, Boswell; also five grandchildren - Brian
  Neuhoff, Gretchen (Neuhoff) Harriman and Tiffany, Shannon and Jeremy
  Smith; great-granddaughter, Brittany Harriman, and sister, Leona,
  wife of Alex Velosky, Florida.  Member of Laurel Mountain Grace
  Brethren Church, UMWA and Jenner Rod & Gun Club.  Army veteran of
  World War II.  Observed 52nd wedding anniversary July 25, 1993. 
  Retired employee of former Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill.  Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and until time of service
  at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street,
  Boswell, with Rev. Michael P. Lookenott officiating.  Interment, Beam
  Cemetery.
