  MRS. DEWEY A. SMITH
  
    Mrs. Alma A. Smith, 74, of 202 Center Street, Boswell, died Dec.
  18, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 20, 1901, in
  Salisbury, she was a daughter of George G. and Emma F. (Petry)
  Delozier.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey A. Smith,
  July 3, 1962; her parents and two brothers.
    Surviving are these children: Marietta L., wife of Milton E. Giffin
  of Boswell; Chester A., married to the former Rose Marie Kozel of
  Acosta; Helen E., wife of Ray T. Weigle of Friedens RD 2; Roberta A.,
  wife of Donald C. Ling, of Mansfield, Ohio; Emma Jean, wife of Jason
  R. Charlton of Bridgeville, Del,; also eight grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren.
    She was a sister of Mrs. Mary L. Hartman of Glencoe; Mrs. Emma E.
  Ludy of Berlin; George A. Delozier, Connellsville; Walter G. and
  Arthur A., both of Cumberland, Md.  An aunt, Mrs. Grace Petry, of
  Salisbury, also survives.
    Mrs. Smith was a long-time active member of the Boswell Church of
  God, where she was the pianist and taught Sunday School for more than
  30 years.
    Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at Boswell Church of God
  with the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton and the Rev. David N. Lykens
  officiating.  Interment in Lebanon Cemetery.
