  Alverda Mae Smith, 57, 228 Juniata St., Boswell, died unexpectedly
  Sept. 11, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 13, 1925,
  in Hyasota, Pa., daughter of Cletus Earl and Elsie Maude (Collier)
  Speicher.  Preceded in death by father; and grandson, Harrison Lee
  Smith Jr.  Survived by mother, Boswell; husband Harrison T.; sons:
  Harrison Lee Sr., married to the former Linda Morrison, Boswell; and
  Ronald L., at home; two granddaughters: Jeanne Marie and Rhonda Sue
  Smith.  Sister of Robert, Mardell Gregory and Mary Kay Hartnett, all
  of Johnstown.  Member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. 
  Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received from 2-4
  p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
  Samuel E. Charlton officiating.  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
