  SMITH
  
  Mrs. Anna B. Smith, 88, died at the home of her niece and nephew, Mr.
  and Mrs. Norman Pyle, of Stepping Stones Road, Somerset RD 1.  She had
  resided there for the past seven years and was formerly of
  Connellsville.  Born Dec. 30, 1888, at South Connellsville, a
  daughter of the late William and Mary Babbage Brooks.  She was a
  member of the Order of Eastern Star, No. 247, Connellsville.  She was
  predeceased by her husband, Walter T. Smith in 1969; a sister, Miss
  Jessie Brooks, in 1973; and a brother, William F. Brooks, in 1952. 
  Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Brooks
  Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville where services
  will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Max Wiant
  officiating.  Interment, Green Ridge Memorial Park.
