    Berneice W. "Betty" Smith, 85, of Somerset, formerly of Johnstown,
  died Dec. 10, 2001 at home.  She was born Dec. 6, 1916 in
  Stoystown.  Retired from Bethlehem Steel General Office, Johnstown. 
  Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Johnstown.  No
  visitation or viewing.  A private service will be held under the
  direction of Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Interment,
  Lambertsville Cemetery.
