   Bessie Mae Smith, 93, Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin, died Feb. 9, 2007, at Somerset
  Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1913, in Gilmor City, Iowa, a daughter of Lorenzo and Winifred
  (Moffet) Weible. Preceded in death by parents; 11 brothers and sisters; two infant
  daughters; and husband, Herlen Doyle Smith, who died Sept. 25, 1995. Survived by these
  children: Earnest, married to the former Hazel Conn, Berlin, Leroy, Ravenna, Ohio,
  Leoris, Stoystown, Dorothy, wife of Donald Kelly, Fort Smith, Ark., Betty, wife of Ralph
  Beaver, Streetsboro, Ohio, Herlen Jr., Collbran, Colo., and Larry and wife, Janette,
  Elyria, Ohio; 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great great-
  grandchildren. Member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church. Had 20 years service as a nurse's
  aide at St. John's Hospital, Cleveland. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, and from 10 a.m. until
  time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church. The Rev. Krista Vingelis
  officiating. Interment, church cemetery. Those who wish, please make contributions to St.
