   Betty Jean Smith, 62, Friedens, passed on March 26, 2008. Born Oct. 21, 1945, in
  Friedens, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Jesse (Albright) Jones. She is also
  preceded in death by her brothers, Lloyd, James, David, Robert, and John Jones. She is
  survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald Smith; children, Donald Smith Jr. and wife,
  Kimberly, Berlin; Brian Smith and wife, Jackie, Friedens; Michelle May and husband,
  Larry, Friedens; and Terry Smith and wife, Roxanne, Rockwood; grandchildren, Larissa and
  Tyler May and Ryan, Kerri, Julie, and Brianna Smith; sisters, Dorothy Bell and Ruth
  Sturtz; brothers, Charles, William, Ronald (and wife, Kathy), Junior, and Donald Jones;
  and sisters-in-law, Connie Jones and Grace Smola. She was an active person who had a
  variety of interests. A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of
  flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society at 168 W.
