  CHARLES E. SMITH
  
    Charles E. Smith, 57, of RD 1, Buffalo Mills (Madley), died
  Thursday, August 13, 1987, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
    He was born in Madley April 26, 1930, son of the late Henry E. and
  Josie Ann (Shroyer) Smith.
    He was formerly employed by Old Bedford Village.  He was a member
  of the Manns Choice Church of God.
    Survivors include his widow, Lois P. (Wilfong) Smith; two sons,
  Roger A. Smith, Bedford; and Mark C. Smith, at home; one daughter,
  Karen Heeter, RD 1, Buffalo Mills; two grandchildren; six brothers,
  Earl Smith, Ellerslie, Md.; Homer Smith, Cresaptown, Md.; Carl Smith,
  Meyersdale RD 4; Glenn Smith, of Michigan; Ray Smith, Jennerstown; and
  Lee Smith, Buffalo Mills RD 1.  
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lloyd D.
  Abbott.
    Interment, Madley Cemetery.
