  SMITH
  
  Charlotte Florence Smith, 69, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Confluence,
  died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1989, at her home.  Born May 23, 1919, in
  Lower Turkeyfoot Township, a daughter of the late James and Hazel
  (Anderson) Younkin.  Survived by her husband, Daniel E., a son,
  Daniel E. Jr.; a granddaughter, Stacy Joy; and 6 sisters: Mabel Plume
  and Bessie Campbell, both of Confluence; Zola Baronie, Vesta Kirsgavis
  and Jean Burns, all of Latrobe; and Jessie Yeager, Bentley Springs,
  Md.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will
  be held Friday at 1 p.m., the Revs. Donald Chamberlain and Thomas
  Charles officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
