  SMITH
  
    Mrs. Doris C. Smith, 56, of Stoystown, died Oct. 27, 1982, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 15, 1926, in Hollsopple,
  daughter of Orville and Grace (Gogley) Custer.  Preceded in death by
  parents, infant son and brother, Ned.  Survived by her husband,
  Lewis; daughter, Mrs. Steve (Amy) Palya of Stoystown RD 3; and Jane,
  at home; and grandson, Ashley.  She was a sister of Roy of Kantner;
  Robert of Morrisville; and James of Friedens RD 2.  She was employed
  as obstetrics supervisor at Somerset Community Hospital.  She was a
  member of the Professional Nurses Association.  Family will receive
  friends from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. J.
  Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
