  EMMA E. SMITH
  
    Emma E. Smith, 88, of Buffalo Mills RD 1, died at her residence
  June 8, 1983.
    Born in Friends Cove, Bedford County, Feb. 7, 1895, she was a
  daughter of the late Irvin Housel and Mary (Miller) Housel.  Her
  husband, Albert Smith, died in 1945.
    Mrs. Smith was a member of the Gravel Pit United Methodist Church.
    She is survived by one son, Irvin Smith, Painesville, Ohio; two
  daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Stuby, Buffalo Mills RD 1, and Mrs. Mary
  Stahlman, Hyndman RD; one brother, Samuel Housel, Claysburg; 13
  grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and eight
  great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted by the Rev. Allyn L. Ricketts.  Interment
  will be in Lybarger Cemetery.
