  EMMA L. SMITH
  
    Emma L. Smith (Lancaster), 78, of Salisbury RD 1, died Feb. 16,
  1981, at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born Sept. 5, 1902, in Greenville Twp., daughter of the
  late William and Mary (Miller) Baer.  She was preceded in death by
  husband, William F. Smith.
    She is survived by one son, Paul H. Lancaster of Cleveland, Ohio;
  one brother, Wilson Baer of Salisbury RD 1; and one sister, Mrs.
  Minerva Shingler of Minerva, Ohio.  Also survived by two
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She was a member of the
  Greenville Lutheran Church.
    Friends were received in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  services were held with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. 
  Interment, Greenville Cemetery.
