  EVELYN D. SMITH 
  
  Evelyn D. Smith, 84, Berlin, formerly of Glencoe, died Oct. 20, 2004,
  at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born Dec. 8, 1919, in Hyndman.
  Daughter of Albert J. and Pearl (Miller) Emerick Williams.  Preceded
  in death by her parents; husband Leroy Eugene Smith; and a sister
  Sarah Rosella Coughenour.  Survived by children, B. Jean, married to
  Peter Kelly, Somerset; Joyce, married to Rodger Deeter, Glencoe;
  Larry, married to the former Joyce Shumaker, Berlin; grandchildren,
  Robin Feldhake, Karen Misak, Brian Kelly, Michael and Todd Deeter,
  and Adam, Craig and Matthew Smith; 12 great-grandchildren.  A former
  employee of Snyder of Berlin.  Member of Mount Olivet United Methodist
  Church, Glencoe.  Former member of the Firemen's Auxiliary and the VFW
  Auxiliary, both of Berlin.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a
  service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.  The Rev. Larry Black and the
  Rev. Samuel Weible officiating.  Interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
