  EVELYN P. SMITH
  
    Evelyn P. Smith, 70, of Accident RD 1, Md., died April 29, 1983, at
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    She was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Cove, Md., daughter of the late Elias
  and Clara (Ringer) McClintock.
    She is survived by her husband, Frederick E. (Ted); three sons: 
  Robert D., Elyria, Ohio; Kenneth E., Chardon, Ohio; and Allen E.,
  Voorhees, N.J.; two brothers: Luther McClintock, Grantsville, Md.;
  and Everett McClintock, Accident, Md.; two sisters: Mrs. Virginia
  Bowser and Mrs. Pauline Richter, both of Accident, Md.; six
  grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of the Cove (LCA)
  and the ladies aid of the church and a member of the Sunday school.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md.
  where services were held with the Rev. William Carlson officiating. 
  Interment, church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
  made to St. John's Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
