  FLORA B. SMITH
  
    Mrs. Flora B. Smith, 93, died Saturday, June 17, 1978, in Berlin,
  Pa.  She was a daughter of the late Prof. Sam G. and Amanda Catherine
  (Ross) Coughenour.  Her husband, Charles H. Smith, preceded her in
  death.
    Mrs. Smith was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the War Mothers,
  the Golden Age and was a former school teacher at Fairhope School.
    Mrs. Smith, is survived by six sons, Merle E. Smith, Meyersdale;
  Robert S. and Ray Smith, both of Berlin; Paul C. Smith, Pittsburgh;
  Stewart G. Smith, Augusta, Ga.; and Dale W. Smith, Herminie, Pa.;
  five daughters, Mrs. Anna Webreck and Mrs. Marion Coughenour, both of
  Glencoe; Mrs. Hazel Crites, Cresaptown, Md.; Mrs. Orlene Raupach,
  Somerset and Mrs. Betty Bittner, North Versailles; two brothers,
  Leroy Coughenour, Fairhope; and Homer Coughenour, Berlin; a sister,
  Mrs. Sarah Leister, Glencoe, 32 grandchildren and 52
  great-grandchildren.  Services were conducted in the Price Funeral
  Home Tuesday with the Rev. David Fetter officiating.  Interment 
  was in Union Cemetery.
