  FLORENCE M. SMITH
  
    Florence Margaret Smith, 84, died Friday, April 13, 1990, at her
  residence, Grantsville, MD.
    Born June 21, 1905 in Bolivar, she was the daughter of the late
  David Michael Kennedy and Adela Mae (Gamble) Kennedy Lentz.
    She formerly resided in Morgantown, W.Va., where she was employed
  as a seamstress by the Morgan Shirt Factory prior to retirement.  She
  was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
  Morgantown, WV.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Gray Smith; her
  stepfather, Calvin Lentz; and by one daughter, one sister, and a
  grandson.
    She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine White, Columbus, Ohio;
  and Leone Uphold, with whom she resided; nine grandchildren, and 14
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, MD,
  where services were conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. W.W.
  Martin.
    Interment, Mount Calvary Cemetery, Morgantown, WV.
