  SMITH
  
  Fred James Smith, 19, West Union St., Somerset, died July 9 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born in Somerset, Oct. 13, 1956, a son
  of Dorothy Latshaw Fraass, Somerset and Burley Smith, Laurel, Md. 
  Besides his parents he is survived by the following: sister, Brenda,
  Lake Geneva, Wisc.; brother, Robert Lee, Somerset; step sister, Dawn
  Fraass, Somerset; fraternal grandmother, Bessie Smith, Somerset RD 2;
  and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Latshaw, Somerset.  He
  was a member of Christian Church in Somerset and was employed by
  Gilmour Manufacturing Co.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  Saturday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Other arrangements are
  incomplete.
