  SMITH
  
  Frieda L. Bisbing Smith, 81, of Hanover, Pa. formerly of Westminster,
  Md., died Feb. 21, 1987, at Hanover (Pa.) General Hospital, following
  an extended illness.  Born Nov. 14, 1905, in Elk Lick Township,
  Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late Susan and Edward
  Bisbing.  Her husband, Elmer S. Smith, died in 1981.  She was a
  member of Grace Brethren Church, Meyersdale, Women of the Moose,
  Meyersdale, and the Potomac Sisterhood, 284 Dames of Malta,
  Cumberland, Md.  Surviving are a daughter, Betty W. Trimpey of
  Hanover, Pa.; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four
  great-great-grandchildren; and 13 nieces and nephews.  Graveside
  services were held Feb. 24 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg,
  Md.
