  GEORGE H. SMITH
  
  George H. Smith, 89, Confluence, passed away at home, Feb. 20, 2004.
  Born Nov. 11, 1914, in Connellsville, a son of the late Howard and
  Jean (Gallagher) Smith.  On April 7, 1945, George and Mary Catherine
  (Mary Kay) Jones were married in Wilkinsburg.  She survives along with
  two sons, Bryan and wife, Bonnie of Traverse City, Mich., and Bruce
  and his wife, Nancy of BelleFontaine, Ohio; grandson, David Schlueter
  of Florida; one sister, Anna Margaret Decker (Harry) of Baden and one
  brother Jim Smith of Connellsville.  He was a graduate of
  Connellsville High School and of Washington Jefferson College.  There
  will be no visitation or viewing.  A memorial service will be held at
  2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 29, at the Confluence Methodist Church.
  Arrangements are being handled by Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.
  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's
  choice.
