GEORGE W. SMITH

  George W. Smith, 83, of Northampton Twp., died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 
at his home following an illness of two weeks.  He was born May 28, 1863 and was 
a retired farmer.
  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eliza Smith, and two children, Mrs. Annie M. 
Coughenour and William H. Smith, both of Pittsburgh.
  He also left nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 in the Mt. Lebanon 
Reformed Church, with Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger officiating.  Interment in the 
Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
