  GEORGE SMITH
  
    George Smith, 66, Vineland, N.J., died Jan. 29, 1982, at Newcumb
  Hospital, Vineland, after a long illness.
    He was born May 9, 1915, in Meyersdale, son of the late Julius and
  Anna (Barnhardt) Smith.  He was also preceded in death by wife, the
  former Ruth Elizabeth Maust.  
    He is survived by children: Raymond E., York; and Shirley, wife of
  George Farmer, Rahway, N.J.; also five grandchildren; one
  great-grandchild.  He was the brother of Paul, San Diego, and Carl,
  Melcroft.  He was a member of F.O.E. of Rahway, N.J., and the Pilgrim
  Congregational Church of Vineland, N.J.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Blair Harshbarger
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
