    H. EDWARD SMITH
    
      H. Edward Smith, 82, of Buffalo Mills RD 1, died Aug. 25, 1980 in
  Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
      A native of Buffalo Mills, he was a son of the late Lewis Smith
  and Elizabeth (Coughenour) Smith.  His wife, Josie (Shroyer) Smith,
  preceded him in death.
      He was a retired employee of the Amceile plant.
      He is survived by seven sons, Earl Smith, Ellerslie; Homer Smith,
  Cresaptown; Charles Smith and Lee Smith, both of Buffalo Mills; Carl
  Smith, Meyersdale RD 4; Glenn Smith, Detroit, Mich.; and Ray Smith,
  Jennerstown.
      He is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marcelle Elliott,
  Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Peggy Ann Hagen, Bedford, and Mrs. Linda Holler,
  Buffalo Mills RD 1; one sister, Mrs. Almeda Burkete, Akron, Ohio; 23
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren.
      Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman.
