    HARVEY B. SMITH
    
      Harvey B. Smith, 73, of Main Street, Accident, Maryland, died
  November 21, 1984, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
      Born Nov. 12, 1911 at Accident, he was a son of the late Philip
  Smith and Ella (Bowser) Smith.
      He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and was an honorary
  member of the Accident Volunteer Fire Department.  He had retired
  after 47 years with Maryland State Roads Department. 
      Surviving are three other brothers, Albert Smith, Paul Smith, and
  Melvin Smith, all of Accident; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nickelson,
  Confluence; and Mrs. Rosie Moon, Accident.
      Services were conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Newman
  Funeral Home, Grantsville, with the Rev. Wilfred Karsten officiating.
  Interment, Zion Cemetery.
