    HARVEY S. SMITH
    
      Harvey S. Smith, 93, of Glencoe RD 1, died May 26, 1975, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 15, 1881, in Bedford
  County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smith.  His wife,
  the former Elizabeth Saylor, died in 1958.
      Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elverta Keefer, Salisbury; three
  sons, Elmer Smith, Meyersdale; Leroy and Irving Smith, Glencoe; 17
  grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren;
  and two half-brothers, William Smith, Nanty Glo; and Harry Smith,
  Glencoe.
      Mr. Smith was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, and
  was a township official for about 30 years.
      Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Paul E. Snyder and Paul Lee
  officiating.  Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
