  SMITH
  
    Herlen Doyle Smith, 83, of Stoystown RD 1, died Sept. 25, 1995, at
  home.  Born Aug. 6, 1912, in Bedford County, son of Blair and Edith
  (Bowman) Smith-Naugle-Null.  Preceded in death by parents, two infant
  daughter, sister, Violet Stayrook, and half brother, Merle.  Survived
  by wife, the former Bessie Weible, and these children: Earnest,
  married to the former Hazel Conn, Berlin; Leroy, married to the
  former Caroline Livengood, Ravenna, Ohio; Leoris, wife of Wayne
  Ogline, Stoystown; Dorothy, wife of Donald Kelley, Fort Smith, Ark.;
  Betty, wife of Ralph Beaver, Streetsboro, Ohio; Herlen Jr., Collbran,
  Colo.; Larry, Elyria, Ohio; also 22 grandchildren and 24
  great-grandchildren.  Half brothers: Robert Naugle, Hollsopple; Floyd
  Naugle, Champion; Emma Graham, Johnstown, and Alvin Naugle, Boswell
  RD.  Member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church.  Retired from Ford Motor
  Company, Cleveland, Ohio.  Death breaks marriage union of 63 years. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville, where service will
  be held 2 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Gerald Myers.  Interment, church
  cemetery.
