  SMITH
  
    Jack W. Smith, 70, of Meyersdale, died June 6, 2000, in
  Meyersdale.  Born July 5, 1929, in Meyersdale, a son of the late
  Emmett M. and Ivadene (Thompson) Smith.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Helen V. Maust; two children, Michael Smith, married to the
  former Michelle Clark, Elmira, N.Y., and Mark R. Smith, married to
  the former Beth Berkebile, Johnstown; and two grandchildren,
  Elizabeth Michaela and Jacob Anthony.  Also survived by a sister,
  Mary, wife of Harold Schrock, Grosse Ile, Mich.  A retired automobile
  damage appraiser for Erie Insurance Group and former owner of Jack W.
  Smith Bump Shop, Meyersdale.  A member of the First United Methodist
  Church, Meyersdale, where he served as council chair person.  Veteran
  U.S. Army, and member of American Legion Post 112.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale.  Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at the First United
  Methodist Church, Meyersdale, with the Rev. Craig L. Lyman and Rev.
  Ray Gnagey officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. 
  Memorials may be made to "Window Restoration Fund", First United
  Methodist Church, Meyersdale.
