  SMITH
  
    Jesse J. Smith Sr., 63, of Kircher Place, Boswell, died Nov. 26,
  2001, at home.  Born Oct. 18, 1938 in Meyersdale, son of Jesse L. and
  Loretta (Simmers) Smith.  Preceded in death by his father; first wife,
  the former Roberta Miller; and second wife, the former Priscilla
  (Newcomer) Berry.  Survived by mother and stepfather Loretta and
  Jacob Conahan, Somerset Pike; sons, Keith of Jerome, and Jesse Jr. at
  home; step-sons Charles Berry, Japan, Capt. Dwight Berry and wife
  Nicole, U.S. Army Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, and James Berry, Syracuse
  N.Y. and five grandchildren.  Half-brother of Carol (Conahan) Gall
  and Robert, Edward, Dennis, and Ronald Conahan, all of Daltona, Fla.,
  and Gary Conahan, Lancaster.  Served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to
  1960.  Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Thursday, Rev. Michael A. Dunlap officiating.  Interment, Jenner Cross
  Roads, Cemetery.
