  Mrs. Kathryn A. (Speicher) Smith, 71, of Somerset RD 7, died Feb. 3,
  1982, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 15, 1910, in
  Accident Md., daughter of the late William A. and Clara (Broadwater)
  Speicher.  Preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert P. Smith in 1972
  and a brother, John P. Speicher.  Sister of Foster O. Speicher of
  Louisville, Ky.; the Rev. Ross Speicher of Harrisonburg, Va.; Mrs.
  Joseph (Lena) Granato of Keyport, N.J.; and Mrs. Floyd (Bernice)
  Zehner of Somerset RD 7; also survived by several nieces and
  nephews.  A graduate of Western Maryland College and the University
  of Maryland; a retired Garrett County, Maryland secondary school
  teacher.  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren where she taught
  the Youth 3 Sunday School class.  Past Worth Matron of the Order of
  Eastern Star of Davis, W. Va.; presently a member of Trinity Chapter
  138, O.E.S. of Somerset.  Member of Delta Kappa Gamma.  Friends will
  be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Wilber D. Miller
  Funeral Home.  Funeral service conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the
  Somerset Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Roger Forry officiating. 
  Viewing, prayer services and interment will take place Sunday
  afternoon in Davis, W. Va.
