  MAE SMITH
  
    Mrs. Mae C. Smith, 86, formerly of Cumberland, died yesterday in
  Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland.
    Born at Confluence, she was a daughter of the late John Kifer and
  Estella (Hutzell) Kifer.
    Surviving are two sons, Charles Turner and Martin Turner, addresses
  unknown; two brothers, Elmer R. Kifer, Hancock, Md.; Melvin T. Kifer,
  Cumberland, Md.; and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Slusser, Paw Paw, W.Va.
    Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home where services
  were conducted by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon.  Interment in Hyndman
  Cemetery.
