MARGARET E. SMITH

  Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Smith of Berlin R.D. 4, died at 11:40 o'clock last 
Friday night at her home after an illness of five months.  She was 91 years old.   
She was born in Somerset County.  Her husband, Harrison H. Smith, died five 
years ago.  Surviving are six children - Herbert, Somerset; Mrs. Elizabeth 
Beachley, Glendale, Cal.; Mrs. A. E. Cook, Norristown; Mrs. W. A. Pugh, Easton, 
Md.; Mrs. Mary E. Sides, Hyndman, and Mrs. A. F. Engle, Berlin.  There are 14 
grandchildren.  Two sons and two daughters preceded her in death. 
  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday by Rev. Herman Snyder, pastor of 
Trinity Reformed Church, Berlin.  Interment in the IOOF Cemetery.
