  SMITH
  
    Martha Mildred Smith, 85, Confluence, died Jan. 8, 1999, at Henry
  Clay Villa, Markleysburg.  Born April 2, 1913 in Lower Turkeyfoot
  Township, a daughter of the late Jacob A. and Mary Lucretia (Conn)
  Nickelson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
  her husband, Charles Kenneth Smith and a son, Gary.  She is survived
  by a daughter, Audrey Hibler of Pittsburgh, and two sons, Kenneth
  Wayne Smith of Sacramento, Calif., and Emmert Roger Smith of
  Listonburg; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister,
  Isabel Ream of Confluence.  Friends received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  Monday (today) at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, with the Rev. Joseph E.
  Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Jersey Cemetery.
