  MARY EDNA SMITH
  
    Mary Edna Smith, 87, of West Salisbury, died June 10, 1976 at
  home.  She was born Dec. 8, 1888, in Salisbury, daughter of the late
  Andrew and Lydia McKenzie Smith.  She is survived by a brother Andrew
  Smith of Karthus and a niece Kathleen Orner, who resided with her, and
  a number of other nieces and nephews.  She was a member of St.
  Michael's Catholic Church of West Salisbury and served as
  postmistress at West Salisbury for 25 years.
    Funeral mass was held at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father
  E.F. Figurelle officiating.
    Interment, St. Michael's Cemetery.
