    Mary R. Smith, 92, formerly of Quecreek, died Aug. 24, 2006, at Siemon's Lakeview
  Manor. Born May 28, 1914, in Acosta, she is the daughter of the late Calvin and Joanna
  (Kimmel) Lohr. Also preceded in death by her husband, John Smith; sisters, Verda Ogline
  and Florence Burkett; and brother George Lohr. Survived by several nieces and nephews.
  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home,
  Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. James E. Vandervort
  officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
