  MAUDE E. SMITH
  
    Maude E. Smith, 90, of 2921 Chadwick NW, Massillon, formerly of S.
  Balch St., died Oct. 12, 1980 after an extended illness.
    She was born in Meyersdale, was a resident of Akron, Ohio for 65
  years, a member of St. Vincent's Church, and the Altar Society.  She
  was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen (Hutzell) and Isaiah
  Fuller.
    She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, James and Josephine
  Cross of Massillon, Ohio; grandchildren, James L. Cross of Detroit,
  Mich.; Mark J. Cross, S. Euclid; David M. Cross of Akron; Jeffrey B.
  Cross, Bedford Hts., and Gerald L. Russell of New York City; and two
  great-grandchildren.
    Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent Church. 
  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
