     Oscar F. "Smitty" Smith, 77, Meyersdale, went to be with the Lord, May 18, 2007, at
  WMHS Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born June 8, 1929, in Meyersdale, he is a son of
  the late J.W. and Mae (Lowery) Smith.  He is also preceded in death  by four
  brothers, Lawrence, Harry, Albert and Robert Smith and a sister, Ruth Baer. He is
  survived by, Doris (Troutman) Smith, his wife of 53 years, whom he married May 23, 1953;
  sisters, Elsie (Smith) Shoemaker, North Huntington; Anna (Smith) Weimer, Freedonia; and
  several nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith retired after 25 years of service from Potomac
  Farms Dairy where he was a deliveryman. He was an active member of Calvary Bible
  Church, Ellerslie, Md., for 39 years. He was also the treasurer for Cook's Cemetery for
  the last 10 years. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed going out west to hunt
  elk. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Calvary Bible Church,
  Ellerslie, where a funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday. Ken Korns, pastor,
  officiating. Burial will follow at Cook's Cemetery, Wellersburg. In lieu of flowers
  donations may be made to Cook's Cemetery to help with the mowing expenses. Harvey H.
  Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, is handling arrangements.
