    Priscilla D. (Newcomer) Berry-Smith, 59, Kircher Place, Boswell, died
  Sept. 16, 2001, at home.  Born May 19, 1942 in Quemahoning Township,
  daughter of John G. and Elsie F. (Dull) Newcomer.  Preceded in death by
  parents and 2 infant brothers.  Survived by husband, Jesse J. Smith Sr.,
  son: Charles Berry, Japan; James Berry, Syracuse, N.Y.; and Capt. Dwight
  Berry and wife, Nicole, U.S. Army, Fort Sam Houston, Texas; stepsons: 
  Jesse Smith Jr., Boswell; and Keith Smith, Jerome; three grandchildren; and
  mother and father-in-law, Loretta and Jacob Conahan, Somerset Pike.  Sister
  of Candace Newswagner, Lancaster; John, Stoystown RD; Mayalene McClintock
  and husband Everett, Grantsville, Md.; Herman and wife, Alverda, Somerset
  Pike; William and wife, Rose, Warminster; June Womer, Leechburg; Patricia
  Straub and husband, Harry, Joppa Md.; Nancy Walker, Friedens RD; and Larry
  and wife Patricia, Ashboro, N.C.  Former cashier at County Market,
  Somerset.  A 1960 graduate of the former Forbes High School, Kantner. 
  Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday,
  Rev. Michael A. Dunlap officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
