  SMITH
  
    Ray Eugene Smith, 51, of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Somerset,
  died Feb. 19, 1994 at a Florida hospital.  Born April 8, 1942 in
  Somerset.  Son of Fern Smith of Somerset.  Survived by wife, Shirley,
  of Pompano Beach; son, Richard and daughter-in-law, Jan, both of West
  Palm Beach, Fla.; and sister, Mabel Miller of Somerset.  He was
  employed by Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. of North Lauderdale, Fla.
  for 22 years.  He was graduated from Somerset High School in 1960. 
  Memorial service in Ray's honor will be held on Saturday in Madison,
  Ohio.
