  Richard W. "Dick" Smith, 65, Stoystown, formerly of Boswell, died Aug. 12,
  2005, at his residence. Born Jan. 25, 1940, in Boswell, son of the late George
  R. and Erma Kathryn (Dunmeyer) Smith. Survived by son, Sean, Boswell; daughter,
  Renee, married to Bryan Kasik, Barboursville, Va.; granddaughter, Daphnie Smith,
  Boswell and brothers, James, Jenner Crossroads, Robert, married to the former
  Merry Albright, and David, both of Jennerstown. Also survived by numerous
  nieces and nephews. A 1957 graduate of JBJ Joint High School, Boswell. A U.S.
  Army veteran. Longtime employee of Watkins Chevrolet, Boswell. He enjoyed
  hunting, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends
  and was a Civil War enthusiast. He was also known for his quick wit and sense
  of humor. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral
  Home & Cremation Services, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be
  held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gary W. Anderson officiating. Interment, Beam
