  ROBERT G. SMITH JR.
    
    Robert G. Smith Jr., 60, of Bedford RD 4, formerly of Wellersburg,
  was dead on arrival Tuesday, June 4, 1985 at the Bedford County
  Memorial Hospital.
    Born in Eckhart, Md., July 21, 1924, he was a son of the late Mr.
  and Mrs. Robert G. Smith Sr. 
    He was a former employee of Pennknoll Village, Bedford; and served
  in the Army in World War II.  His first wife, Jacqueline (Marquette)
  Smith, died Aug. 6, 1978.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Audrey Wray; three sons: James
  Smith, Layton, Utah; John Smith, Keene, N.H.; Craig Smith, at home;
  one daughter, Julie Smith, at home; and a brother and sister, Fred
  Smith and Miss Ruth Smith, both of Cumberland, Md.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Harold V. Smith
  Jr.  Interment, Cooks Cemetery near Wellersburg.
