  SMITH
  
    Robert Lee Smith, 68, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 13, 1993 in the
  James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona.  Born Jan. 29, 1925 in
  Meyersdale, a son of the late J.W. and Mae (Lowery) Smith.  Also
  preceded in death by a son and two brothers.  Survived by his widow,
  Matsumi (Hasebe) Smith, and these children: Rebecca, wife of Wayne
  Boor of Warner Robins, Ga.; Patricia Smith of Harrisburg; Bonnie,
  wife of Larry Kingsley of Indiana, Pa.; and Timothy Smith of
  Meyersdale.  Also four grandchildren.  Brother of Lawrence, Girard,
  Ohio; Oscar, Wellersburg; Elsie (Smith) Shoemaker, McKeesport; Ruth
  (Smith) Baer, Akron, Ohio; and Anna (Smith) Weimer of West Middlesex,
  Pa.  Retired U.S. Army and also retired from B&O Railroad.  Member of
  the Masonic Lodge-Sun Lodge 6; DAV and VFW and Fraternal Order of
  Police.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
  and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Leckemby Funeral Home,
  where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Chauncey
  Ickes and Pastor Randy Steele officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
