  SMITH
  
    Rodney James Smith, 40, of Meyersdale RD 4, died Oct. 3, 1994 at
  his home.  Born Jan. 20, 1954 in Meyersdale, a son of James A. and
  Phyllis (Kelly) Smith, Meyersdale RD 4.  Survived by his wife, the
  former Diana Schradt; daughter, Amy Smith, Meyersdale RD 4; stepsons,
  William and Andrew Grasser, at home; grandchildren, Kathryn and
  Zachary Lantz.  A brother of Terry L. Smith, Meyersdale RD 4. 
  Survived by a niece, Brandi Marie Smith; and a nephew, Jeremy J.
  Smith, both of Meyersdale RD 4.  Friends were received from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Mass
  of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Philip and James
  Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Father James F. Bunn, Father Alan
  Thomas and Pastor Barry Weyant officiating.  Interment, church
  cemetery.  Memorials may take the form of contributions to the
  Meyersdale Public Library, or the "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S. Center
  Ave., Somerset. Christian Wake Service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at
  the funeral home.
