  SMITH
  
    Ronald J. Smith, 47, of Melcroft, died March 12, 1990 in
  Morgantown, Pa.  Born Oct. 31, 1942 in Confluence, a son of Harvey
  and Clema (Romesburg) Smith of Confluence.  Also surviving are his
  wife, Donna (Shroyer) Smith; and two children: Ronald Jr. and Penny
  both of Melcroft.  Also two brothers, Richard of Manns Choice and
  Clyde of Confluence; and two sisters, Betty Vogel of Fort Hill and
  Debra Wagner of Salisbury.  He was preceded in death by an infant
  daughter, Gloria Jean.  He was a member of Local 1058 Construction
  Workers Union.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
  and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence.  Visitation Friday from noon until time of service at 1
  p.m. at the Critchfield Missionary Alliance Church, Mill Run RD 1. 
  Rev Tim McGarvey and the Rev. Thomas Charles will officiate. 
  Interment, Maple Summit Cemetery.
